This is the status page of the openSUSE infrastructure team, where you can get updates on how our systems are doing. If there are interruptions to service, we will post a note here.

Build Service build.opensuse.org unreachable

build.opensuse.org is not reachable anymore and all traffic to it gets dropped.

  • Everything is back online. Stay tuned for a post mortem on https://openbuildservice.org/categories/deployments/

  • We managed to fix the firewall.

  • Applying changes to firewalld gone wrong and left machine unreachable. We are working on bringing it back.

    Software software.opensuse.org unexpected slow

    The dev team of software.o.o found the bug and in the mean time did a "hot fix" for this to let software.o.o run smoothly again.

    We are facing trouble with the performance of software.o.o atm - we are investigating this issue and inform you here if it's solved. Thanks to everybody for reporting this.

    Documentation community.opensuse.org unexpected downtime

    EDIT: Fixed

    The VM community.opensuse.org didn't survive the latest upgrade unfortunately. It hosts a few services like:

    • https://doc.opensuse.org
    • https://shop.opensuse.org
    • https://fontinfo.opensuse.org/
    • the IRC bot "bugbot"

    We are currently working on it, but no ETA can be currently given
